can anybody tell me what happen to this forum, it used to be really nice art forum but it turned in to... forum, is it only me feeling this way ? does Admin control the contents of the posts ? if something posted here its not an art should not be removed ?

Hello! There is a serious problem in the Advanced search area. For example I serched for Sla*n and was rewarded with 726 results in 25 pages. But the first page displays only 6 results and clicking on the page 2 leads to a "sorry no result for "sla*n. [?] Many thanks

I own the painting of the oranges in the link below. http://www.palettemuseum.com/?p=1497 This site is attempting to determine the artist. My painting has written verso, Levi Wells Prentice, unintelligible, Buffalo, NY Jun 9, 1889. I was told it´s not a Prentice. The site above says it was painted on a Winsor & Newton canvas and framed at R.C. Roberts, Swansea, Wales. None of that information is visible on my painting. The back paper is mainly torn off, but much remains glued to the stretcher. If anyone can offer any intformation as to the artist. Thank you very much.
